Natural anti aging skin care products are the best anti aging skin care lotions and creams. Indeed, naturally occurring compounds are always the best, but synthetics are cheaper and that’s why manufacturers use them.

The subject of anti aging natural skin care products seems fascinating to many people. The cosmetic companies have brainwashed us with their commercials, their advertising, their labeling and their pretty bottles.

Even, dating back to the fourth century BC, people had been aware of the existence of great anti aging skin care products. Traders from other surrounding areas brought different roots, spices and medicinal remedies to the local markets. People could find natural products and learn how to use them. Of course, there were also snake oil salesmen that were quick to make a sale and move on to the next town.

They are no better than the snake oil salesmen, but instead of disappearing, they introduce their anti aging skin care as “new and improved”. Simply using those words is an advertising gimmick that has been used for years, but still attracts unknowing customers.

Instead of something new and improved, the companies introduce products that rely in the “tried and true” methods for attracting customers, but are not selling the safest and best anti aging natural skin care products. In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration regulates the cosmetic industry, but the methods used to regulate this industry differ from those applied to food and drugs.

Cosmetics are not to be ingested so they don’t have to be safe. Only a few ingredients are not allowed. Also, the term “natural” is a much unspecified term since you can use it as long as the substances are naturally occurring. Still, some naturally occurring substances are bad for your skin’s health and should not be included. Others substances are presumed to be carcinogenic, and a few are “known” to cause cancer and birth defects, but the companies willingly include them in their cosmetics.

The best anti aging skin care systems do not contain anything that could be hazardous to your skin’s health. It’s counterproductive. You want to improve your skin’s health, so that it will create new cells, new collagen and elastin fibers.

If it is not a healthy product, it won’t improve your skin. Production of cells, new collagen and elastin fibers will continue to decline unless you find superior anti aging natural skin care products.

Read the labels. There are some things that should be avoided when buying anti aging natural skin care products. The complete list is long and contains a number of unrecognizable and difficult to remember chemical names. But, there are some that are relatively easy to spot, once you know what to look for, and they are also commonly used in cosmetics and skincare products of all kinds.

Mineral oils, petrolatum, paraffin, liquid paraffin and paraffin wax should be avoided for many reasons, but when it comes to the best anti aging skin care they inhibit the skin’s ability to regenerate. Fragrances and preservatives are the most common allergens, and parabens are the most commonly used preservatives. They have been linked to cancer in numerous studies.
