Homemade Acne Treatments Work Better And Are Cheaper Than Conventional Medicine.
Acne tends to show up for most people around the same time, usually some time during high school. I was no exception and like everyone else, I tried all sorts of things to get it to go away. Nothing worked, but I wasn’t to worried as my parents told me that as I got older, it would go away. They were wrong, unfortunately. My acne hung around and it also got worse.
I got into the habit of trying out new products. Some worked ok and others were terrible. I really wanted to handle my problem so I looked around a lot online to hopefully find a cure.
I eventually found that many people were using homemade acne treatments with great success. I would have never imagined that stuff I could find around my house could work so well. I was pretty excited and wanted to try them all out at once.
Thankfully, I reigned in my eagerness a bit and decided to try out the products in a more conventional manner. Some worked great for me and really helped clear up my skin. Others didn’t work as well, but I wasn’t bothered as much when something didn’t work. Why? Because it costs only a few dollars compared to the tens or hundreds of dollars I had wasted before.
On top of not wasting my money anymore, I was also not using harsh chemicals on my face. My skin wasn’t always clear, but it stopped being dull and actually looked really good. Ever since I noticed that, I’ve sworn off conventional medications. They never made me all that clear and they made my skin look like crap on top of it.
So by now you want some homemade acne treatments to use on your face. There are so many it might get a little overwhelming. Try using baking soda to exfoliate any dead skin cells, then follow up with egg whites to smooth the skin and egg yolks to fade away blemishes and other marks you might have.
Those suggestions might seem a bit off the wall, so instead start with a lemon juice toner. Just clean your face like normal and apply the toner after you have rinsed off. Make sure you mix it with water as full strength lemon juice will sting quite a bit. This toner will clear your pores and wash away any leftover soap residue left on your face.
You could also try a mask made from aspirin and water. Just crush up 3 tablets in a cup with a little but of water. You want this to be a thick mask so try not to use to much water. Then apply the mask and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and then just rinse it off. This works well because aspirin in a beta-hydroxy acid and it will dissolve dead skin cells as well as fade away blemishes.
